The school was established by the SNDP Yogam Branch No. 171 Angadickal South in the year 1951 in the name of Lord Sree Narayana Guru, the symbol of Universal brotherhood, who blessed mankind with the great message “One Caste, One Religion, One God for Man” to the world. The school is situated in a silent, nature friendly area. The founder Manager was Shri. V.K. Kunjukunju followed by Shri. P.C. Krishnapanicker, Shri. M.K. Kesavan, Shri. N. Vijayarajan, Shri. C.V. Chandran, Shri. K. Prathapan , Shri Udayan. Presently Shri Rajan D Bose is serving as school Manager. Our school is one of the top ranking educational institutions in Pathnamthitta district securing academic excellence year after year Besides Upper Primary and High School section, our school is amongst few in the district which has both higher secondary and vocational higher secondary (NSQF). Alongwith three science batches , two commerce and one humanity in the higher secondary wing , there are three higher Secondary NSQF (Vocational) courses FTCP (Science Batch - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Biology & Second language (Hindi, Malayalam, Sanskrit)), FHW ( Science Batch - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Biology & Second language (Hindi, Malayalam, Sanskrit)) and AE (commerce batch - Business Studies, Accountancy with Computerised Accounting , Computer Application, English & Second language (Hindi, Malayalam, Sanskrit) And (Humanities Batch - Politics,. History, Economics, Sociology, English & Second language (Hindi, Malayalam, Sanskrit).
